Hi, I wonder if it is possible to augment the machine for the stretch robot with external GPU like 3090.

Hi @gtsimonxu, we have a tutorial for networking a workstation (e.g. that has a GPU) with Stretch to offload heavy computation. It uses ROS2 for local networking. Check it out here: [stretch\_tutorials/ros2/remote\_compute.md at master · hello-robot/stretch\_tutorials · GitHub](https://github.com/hello-robot/stretch_tutorials/blob/master/ros2/remote_compute.md)

It’s my understanding that putting a desktop card GPU like the 3090 onboard Stretch would be difficult from a power and weight perspective.
