Dex wrist Dynamixel communication failures

I had some similar issues (on an RE1) in the past, maybe some of the discussion in this forum post could help?

For me, running RE1_dynamixel_id_scan.py /dev/hello-dynamixel-wrist --baud 115200 failed, but scanning for the head motors still worked.

Things we tried, in order:

  1. We checked my Stretch params, user params, and hello robot library versions
  2. We replaced the dynamixel cables in the wrist assembly
  3. We replaced the WACC board in the robot’s wrist
