Making sound using respeaker

Hi! My partner and I are trying to use the respeaker on RE2 to say some words. The node we launched was:

For some reason, it just gets stuck, and cannot proceed to finish launching. Hence, we also tried another available launch files on the robot:

This node can proceed, but when we launch the run file, it still cannot make any sound. We are sure that the robot’s speaker is not muted. What steps did we miss? Thanks!

Hi @JannaLam, I’ve seen the same issues with the sound_play launch files. In the past, I’ve had success with just launching the node, as described in this tutorial, near the bottom:
