I want to know how to fix string inside the gripper

Hello.
Unfortunately, the string inside our robot’s gripper broke.

Is there somewhere I can browse for information on the repair procedure in this case?

Also, the thread has become a little short and I want to replace it with a new one.
Are there any requirements (material, thickness, etc.) regarding the thread to be used?
