Troubles Turning Stretch On

I am having trouble turning on my Stretch. My Stretch 2 was working normally yesterday and was plugged in to charge the same way we have always done.

When I went to power it on today, I left it plugged in charging and had the HDMI, mouse, and keyboard connected as usual. The LiDAR starts spinning and the run-stop button is operational (blinking when pressed and returning solid when held down, along with the accompanying beeps), but the startup chime never happens.

I have tried connecting via SSH to see if the issue is with the monitor, but I cannot access Stretch that way either. The monitor also shows no indication that the system is powering on.

I have attempted booting it while plugged in with the battery on supply mode as well as unplugged with all cables disconnected.

The arm is supporting itself when I turn on the switch, but it does not appear to fully boot up.

I saw in another post that I should check the NUC LED. I am not sure what I am specifically looking for, but there is one LED lit up and I have attached a picture.

I also checked the battery voltage which was 12.98 when powered off and 12.7 when powered on.

Any additional troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @allib,

Happy to help you get this resolved.

Could you please email us at support@hello-robot.com with a link to this post and the photo you mentioned?

Also, just to help us narrow things down, the NUC LED is located underneath the PIMU board, roughly under the M2 connector (in your photo, this is the top-left area). Could you let us know if that LED is on, and whether it’s solid or blinking?

We’ll take a closer look and guide you through the next steps from there.

Best,
Jason

Thanks for the quick response, I just sent the email. The only LED on is the orange one visible in the picture at the top (which is blinking).
